Autumn Leaves

We are well into the fall season so I figured I’d photograph the leaves still on the trees.  The funny thing about leaves is that the only thing that makes them green is the chlorophyll that is used to facilitate photosynthesis.  As the chlorophyll dies out, the true colour of the leaf shows.  In this case, it’s your typical brown leaf.

Notes:
Taken with Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi.
Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II.
Shutter Speed: 1/320s.
Aperture: f/5.0.
ISO 100.
Edited with Adobe Photoshop CS4.
