Moving Through the Alley

I quite like my Lensbaby.  It makes things look like they’re in motion when they really aren’t.  In this case, it makes it look like that I was taking this photograph while moving into the alley.  Photographing while moving isn’t really something that I do because I’ve been burned so many times by shaky photographs because I shot something while moving.  In this case, the lens intentionally creates a not-so-sharp at the edges photograph and that is what creates this “moving” effect.  Towards the middle, the photograph is sharper and clearer and that draws the eye in towards the infinitely extending alley.

Taken with Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi.
Lensbaby Composer.
Shutter Speed: 1/800s.
ISO 400.
Edited with Adobe Photoshop CS5.
